About us…
Jeličić Law Office (JLO) was established in 2009 by Nevena Jeličić, attorney at law. Today, there are thirteen attorneys at law, five attorney trainees and two consultants with a number of associates, comprising a team with extensive experience in civil and criminal law.
Predominant activity of JLO is aimed at representation and providing legal advice to companies, including representation in all procedures before competent authorities of the Republic of Serbia and providing legal advice and preparation of legal acts for day-to-day business operations.
In addition to representation of legal entities in commercial law, JLO is engaged in representation in civil and criminal proceedings.
Humanitarian work…
In addition to legal services, JLO is engaged in the field of social responsibility and humanitarian work, including pro bono representation of Belgrade Safe house protégés since February 2016, various sponsorships with the aim of collecting the funds for children without parental care, opinion journalism and organization of exhibitions for promotion of Belgrade cultural heritage protection, etc.
SCOPE OF WORK
In its work, JLO strives to recognize specific needs of each client, to identify problems, and to offer the most effective solution. The goal is to represent the parties by protecting their best interest, using all available means pursuant to applicable regulations, aiming at successful outcome and achievement of the desired effects.
JLO provides services to its clients in the following areas:
Corporate law
As part of JLO Corporate Department, experienced lawyers provide counselling services from any and all areas of corporate law, as well as support in incorporation, merger and acquisition processes of companies in Serbia, through the preparation of all relevant legal acts and representation in appropriate administrative proceedings. Also, JLO provides legal services in the area of bankruptcy and reorganization, as well as in the area of all other transactional matters, given the growing presence of multinational companies in Serbia, as well as the growing presence of Serbian companies on the international market.
Banking, financial and tax law
JLO has many years of experience in the area of banking and insurance law through the provision of legal services and representation of banks and insurance companies. In addition, JLO offers services in the field of tax consulting, providing support to its clients in launching and implementation of their complex projects, in terms of providing legal advice and assistance in negotiations.
Intellectual property rights
Within the scope of its activities, JLO provides clients with services in the area of intellectual property rights, with special emphasis on copyright. In addition to counselling, assistance in registration of trademarks, patents and other rights in the field of intellectual property before the competent state authorities, JLO has rich experience in the representation of clients before court in the proceedings arising out of this matter.
Labour law
JLO team includes experts with many years of experience in the area of labour law and labour relations issues. JLO provides legal advice to clients on most efficient methods of regulating labour relations, provides services regarding preparation of relevant general employer acts and of other aspects of labour regulations, as well as representation in disputes before court.
Real estate
JLO provides legal services to clients in relation to real estate, such as drafting sale and purchase contracts, conducting adequate inspection before competent state authorities as well as representation in administrative proceedings before the Republic Geodetic Authority of Serbia and the competent Secretariats.
Criminal law
Criminal Department is part of JLO as well, the members of which are attorneys at law with many years of practice in representation of clients in criminal proceedings, as well as in the area of misdemeanour law and economic offences. They are also specialized in representation before the Special Department of the Higher Court in Belgrade.
Representation in court proceedings
JLO has many years of experience in successful representation of clients in all court proceedings – in civil as well as extrajudicial, enforcement and criminal proceedings.
Given the need for alternative dispute resolutions, JLO in this regard follows development in accordance with modern tendencies. JLO provides services of representation in negotiations, mediation and proceedings before arbitration.

ATTORNEYS AT LAW
Nevena Jeličić
Nevena Jeličić is the founder of Jeličić Law Office. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade, at which she is currently completing her Master studies. She has many years of experience in law gained during her work in court and in banking / Banca Intesa Belgrade. After taking an oath before the Bar Association of Belgrade in 2009, she founded her own law office. During her carrier as an attorney at law she practiced criminal law, by representing clients before the Special Department for Organized Crime of the Higher Court in Belgrade.
As the founder of JLO, she was the initiator of numerous humanitarian activities, thus ADV-JELICIC logo may often be seen at various humanitarian events.
Veljko Zečević
Veljko Zečević has graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade, and has been practicing law since 2007. He became an associate at Veselinović Law Office in May 2014. During his career as an attorney at law, he specialized in civil law, in different areas of commercial law in particular. He is engaged in counselling and representation of companies and individuals before courts and other competent authorities, as well as in providing all other legal services, with special emphasis on banking, leasing and implementation of status and other changes in companies.
Snežana Sladaković
Snežana Sladaković started her legal career in 2010 after graduating from the Faculty of Law in Belgrade. She has been an associate at Veselinović Law Office since April 2013. She is engaged in the representation of legal entities and individuals in civil, criminal and administrative proceedings, as well as in counselling and resolution of problems in corporate governance. Also, she is attending Specialist studies of tax law and counselling at the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade.
Vladimir Bubanja
Vladimir Bubanja has graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade, and passed the Bar Exam in 2005. He has been building his legal career within legal departments of several large domestic and foreign companies, and started working as a lawyer at Veselinović Law Office in 2017. He is specialized in banking business, bankruptcy and reorganization. He is also responsible for providing legal advice in related areas of law, especially in the field of corporate governance.
Olivera Ćirković
Olivera Ćirković has graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade. She studied at WU Universitat Wien and then completed her Master studies. She has been practicing law at Veselinović Law Office since 2015. She mainly deals with the representation of clients before courts in all types of proceedings, with special emphasis on civil and enforcement proceedings. She is specialized in the area of indemnification and insurance.
ATTORNEY TRAINEES
Bogdan Felbab
Bogdan Felbab has graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade. He has been practicing law as an attorney trainee at Veselinović Law Office since July 2017. He mainly deals with the representation of clients before court and other competent authorities. He would like to specialize in criminal and misdemeanour law and indemnification.
Jelena Živković
Jelena Živković has graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Union. She has been practicing law as an attorney trainee at Veselinović Law Office since September 2017. She provides legal advice to clients and would like to improve her knowledge in the field of corporate law.
Siniša Živanović
Siniša Živanović has graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Novi Sad, and is currently attending Master studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade. He has been working as an attorney trainee at Veselinović Law Office since October 2017. His intention is to specialize in corporate law and to provide counselling services in commercial law.
PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATES
Nataša Leković
Nataša Leković is the head of Corporate Law Department of Veselinović Law Office. She has graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade and is currently completing her Master studies in the field of corporate law. She has many years of experience in banking and insurance, acquired in eminent companies such as Banca Intesa, Naftna industrija Srbije and Energoprojekt Garant. She specialized in company law, corporate governance and compliance. On several occasions, she has been engaged by Serbian Chamber of Commerce in World Bank projects.
OFFICE MANAGER
Željka Malbaša
Željka Malbaša has graduated from the Belgrade Business School – Higher Education Institution for Applied Studies, specializing in Finances, Accounting and Banking and she has been an associate at Veselinović Law Office since 2013. She has many years of experience in financial management and work organization in law offices.
OFFICER
Marija Nedić
Marija Nedić has many years of experience in the field of justice, namely in the organization of administration work. She worked in the former First Municipal Court in Belgrade from 1993, then in the District Court in Belgrade, and from 2008 in the Special Department of the Higher Court in Belgrade. She became an associate at Veselinović Law Office in 2015, where she works as an officer in charge of daily logistics issues in the representation of parties.
